Carol Bentz works in the Accounting Department and has been with the Company for over 35 years. She started working at Ideal part-time while she was still in high school and has seen many changes over the years. Her husband Dennis works at Fleetwood and they enjoy golfing and going to stock car races.
Kevan Biggs is the President and CEO of Ideal Suburban Homes. Since graduating from college in 1996, Kevan has been intimately involved in all aspects of the business. He learned the ins and outs of the business by working side-by-side with his father on a daily basis. On January 15, 2004, Kevan assumed the position of CEO of Ideal Suburban Homes and took over full management of the Company. On October 1, 2006, Kevan purchased a majority interest in the Company. Ralph Biggs (Kevan's father) quietly built on a business that was originally founded on strong values and good moral judgment by his father-in-law, Clark Smith. Kevan operates the Company today with those same founding values.
Mike Blee is the Vice President and Legal Counsel for the Company. His undergraduate degree is from Indiana University and his law degree is from the University of Dayton. He was in the private practice of law for 13 years in Fort Wayne until he became involved in the management side of the construction business in 1994. He has been with the Company since June, 2009.
Paul Conrad is our Director of Estimating and Purchasing. Paul has been in residential construction since 1986 working his way up from framing to field superintendent. In 2005 he joined the Ideal team as a Field Superintendent. In the fall of 2009 he moved into the Director of Estimating and Purchasing position. In this capacity he works closely with the sales team on building our clients dream homes and also works closely with our suppliers to keep Ideal up-to-date on the latest trends, items, and technology in home building.
Kim Davis is the Director of Sales for Ideal Suburban Homes. She has been involved with sales for over 20 years and joined the Company in 2005. She assists the realtors in helping prospective clients achieve their dream of owning and/or building their own home. Kim works closely with the realtors, construction department, lenders, and title companies to make sure every transaction goes smoothly.
Chuck Foehl is the manager of our In-House CAD Department which can design your 1 or 2-story home on a structural slab, on a crawl space, or on a basement. Chuck has been involved with the housing industry for 16 years. Through this time he has been involved with single family and multi-family projects. He started with Ideal Suburban Homes in July of 2006 and takes care of all the house designs for both our spec and pre-sold homes for both our single family homes and multi-family villas. He meets with every pre-sold home customer to review their final home design at their Pre-Construction Meeting to insure that they are getting the home they want.
Greg Green serves as a Field Superintendent for Ideal Suburban Homes. Greg graduated in 1994 from Columbia City Joint High School with the last two years studying in the building trades program. He has been in the construction industry since 1994 working in all areas of building from residential to commercial with the last 8 years as a residential superintendent. Greg married his wife Monica in 1995 and has two wonderful boys. He is also an active volunteer firefighter since 1994.
Steve Hankenson has been a Construction and Rehabilitation Project Manager for the company since 2009. After graduating from The University of Illinois with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing he attended Eastern Illinois University to obtain his Secondary Teaching Credentials. Prior to arriving at Ideal, Steve held positions a High School Teacher and Coach, Construction Field Superintendent, Estimating and Engineering Project Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Purchasing Manager.
Kristi Miller is in our Accounting Department and joined the Ideal team 22 years ago. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, Dylan and Derek.
